Message and Meaning workshop

The workshop was about using the fold-in technique (used by MAD magazine) to explore how framing changes the meaning/message of an image. We will use Elephant and Castle for inspiration.
I find it very useful.

BRANDYOU

The project brief was to create a brand that represent you in a way.

During the development of ‘BrandYou’ you had to ask yourself some basic questions. For example: What are your values? What do you love?
What do you hate? What are you great at doing? What are you most proud of? What do you want to be? What is important and valuable to you? What do you want to be known for?

After does question I have try do decompose myself. 

For example:


• my name • my title • my personal style • my speaking style • my favorite literature • my favorite music • my profession • my social interests

Rendering tools I might want to play with: • a primary shape (circle, square, triangle)
• colour • typography (digits or characters only) • photography • scaled or cropped images • hand drawing • no images at all • the opposite of the above

My friend Baby'oul ask me to do his debut album cover for him, it was a good experience for me as i have never done CD covers before.

BRANDYOU PROJECT with Company

I was excited about this branding project Company mostly because I have done branding projects in the past and I find it very interesting and fun.
 
COMPANYCompany are a design consultancy, creating brand identities, publications and websites. As their name suggests they like working in the company of others.
Their designs are inspired by a desire to make people think, smile and see things differently.
Their work has been exhibited at the BFI Southbank, the ICA, the European Design Awards and the Royal College of Art.

The man with brain in his hands-Horfe x Topsafe packs

Topsafe London has released its latest collaboration with Parisian graffiti writer & fine artist Horfe. The collection includes 20 unique packs created to illustrate Horfe’s diverse artistic style. Each pack features three original works by the artist and consists of a 28-page zine which features an exclusive interview, an original watercolor drawing, a page of handstyles, a page of outlines and a photograph of a Horfe piece. Each and every pack has been both numbered and signed by the artist and will be selected at random upon purchase. All those interested can now pick up a pack from Topsafe.
